Kern Park
In 2021 the city commissioned a comprehensive master plan of all parks, which includes
upgrades to Kern Park. Thanks to $300,000 of appropriated American Rescue Plan Funds, the long awaited Kern Park Upgrades are underway.
These upgrades include:
-Trail Restoration & Repairs
- Blighted Tennis Court Removal
- Educational Kiosks
- Formal Entrance Establishment
- Trail Maps & Markers
- New Pollinator Garden
Grand Opening Celebration
Wednesday, August 21, 2024 | 5:30 - 6:30 PM
Join Bristol Parks, Recreation, Youth and Community Services for the grand opening celebration of Kern Park! A ceremonial ribbon cutting will be held at the Sims Road entrance (parking available at 160 Ivy Drive) and will be followed by a tour of the park.
